From 2026, Not Too Tame is committed to employing at least one actor in each of our productions, who have graduated from a BOOTCAMP.
THE TRAINING
Bootcamp is an 8-week acting & professional development training for anyone 17 - 70. The course is led by Artistic Director and UK Theatre Award nominee, Jimmy Fairhurst .
THIS Spring
Participants will have the opportunity to rehearse and perform their final showcase on the iconic Cockpit stage at Shakespeare North Playhouse.
The course will include:
Showcase in the Cockpit Theatre
2 out of 8 Sessions in the Cockpit Theatre
1 x 30 min individual career advice session with an NTT senior member
Weekly material to learn and perform
Career and professional development advice
Classical work
Voice work
Physical and Ensemble work in the cockpit auditorium
Text analysis
How to work in the round.

A second original piece of bespoke material to perform in the showcase.
