ELECTRIC EDEN
Electric Eden is a celebration of community spirit and our connection to music. A group of misfits are left to save their beloved nightclub after the death of their gaffer, Grandfather and friend, Tommy Eden. Injustice is rife round here, but when the group decide to make a stand, are they heading for the mother of all hangovers? Not so much hippies, hoodies and placards, but air guitar, glow sticks and UV war paint. A celebration of what it means to make your voice heard and be a part of something.Relentlessly upbeat and unpredictable, this is party theatre at its best!
Electric Eden opened the Shanghai International Festival with performances from an electrifying ensemble. The production features the voice of Peter Mullan (Tyrannosaur, Sunshine on Leith) and live music from SLYDIG’S frontman, Dean Fairhurst, who recently toured America, Canada and Europe with rock legends, The Who.
